Unhealthy mindsets and dysfunctional behavior patterns may result in many personal problems within your relationships. Some of those problems are as follows: family dysfunction, marital discord, anger outbursts, poor coping skills, poor peer relations or social skills, health-related problems, strained or conflictual relationships between parent-child, romantic relationship conflicts/break-ups etc. These particular issues can manifest themselves in a number of ways which include the following symptoms that we treat.
Whether you’re an individual, a couple or a family looking for help - our therapy sessions are designed to strengthen your confidence, and assist you in the healing process. Take a look at the services offered, and get in touch with us today.
In our individual therapy sessions, we’ll work to solve current problems and improve positive thinking and behavior. We will help you “re-frame” your reactions and provide you with valuable tools to cope with life’s obstacles.
Therapy with children may involve simply talking about the child’s concerns, but very often children are too young to verbally articulate what is on their minds. Working with children facing tough times, we often us play as a way to help children learn to self-regulate behavior and emotions, problem-solve, reduce anxieties and fears, and build self-esteem.
Group therapy helps individuals both children and adults work through problems by interacting with a therapist and a group of individuals with similar struggles. In a safe, confidential setting, each group member can share personal experiences, feelings and issues and receive feedback and support from the rest of the group.
ANGER MANAGEMENT THERAPY
Whether it is road rage; or emotional, verbal, or physical violence in marriage; or yelling at the media over the contentious political climate in our country, it seems that anger has become more prevalent in our lives and culture. We take a focused, programmatic approach toward reducing the frequency of expressions of anger, providing coping strategies, and reducing the recovery time for anger occurrences.
TRAUMA FOCUSED THERAPY
Trauma can be as slight as a child’s humiliating moment at school, or it can be as horrific as rape, surviving a life-threatening car accident, or being exposed to combat. We approach trauma from several perspectives. We know that it is safety, empathy, and trust that helps move a person past the crippling effects of trauma.
SOCIAL SKILLS TRAINING SESSION
Social skills don’t come easily to everyone, but they can be learned. This group helps individuals learn positive social interaction skills through modeling, guided activities, practice, and positive reinforcement. These sessions are filled with fun interactive instruction through the use of games, art and role play.
Grief is the normal and natural reaction to significant emotional loss of any kind. While we can never compare losses, any list would include death and divorce as obvious painful losses. Other losses include retirement, moving, pet loss, financial and health issues, marriage, graduation, end of addictions, and unmet hopes, dreams, and expectations.

Group Counseling Sessions
Breaking from traditional roles found in individual psychotherapy, group therapy aims to utilize the innate resiliences the clients and therapist have in relation to one another.
Group therapy relies on its members as the first therapeutic intervention. Without consistent involvement and commitment to the group, much of the therapeutic power can be lost. Each group member is expected to financially commit for four sessions at a time. At the end of the four week period, the group member is then better able to effectively gauge whether or not further treatment is needed.
Group will meet once a week for a 1-hour session.

Individual Therapy: $150
Individual Telehealth (Video) Therapy: $150
FMLA Assessment Completion: $250
Records Request: $30
